THREE midwives from Worcestershire Royal Hospital in Worcester, who are used to delivering other people's babies, have given birth to their own within weeks of each other.

The midwives achieved the hat-trick when they gave birth to the babies in March and April.

Sarah Colclough gave birth to Lily, Michelle Slater to Kian, and Cassie Taft to Imogen.

A spokesman for the Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust said: "They have been working to deliver many babies themselves - now their colleagues have helped them deliver their own."
