A 19-year-old man who drove through the streets of Worcester at speeds of nearly 70mph while drunk will be sentenced at crown court.
Paul Gill, of Northwick Road, Worcester, led a police chase through the city after taking his former partner's Fiat Punto without consent, on Saturday, April 19.
Gill, who has no driver's licence, ended up crashing into a parked and was arrested at the scene along with another man.
He admitted a string of offences at an earlier hearing of Worcester Magistrates, in April, including dangerous driving, drink-driving, driving other than in accordance with a licence and without insurance, and taking a vehicle without the owners consent.
Gill, who has a 19-month-old daughter, also admitted breaching an anti-social behaviour order banning him from being drunk in a public place.
City magistrates decided their powers would be insufficient after reading a pre-sentence report and Gill will now appear for sentencing at Worcester Crown Court, on Friday, June 13.
He was bailed with conditions he abide by a home curfew between 8pm and 6am and wears an electronic tag.
