A MAN is accused of drug driving on a key city centre road.
Damian Hanson, of Bromwich Road, Worcester, faces one charge of driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit.
The particulars of the offence are that Hanson is alleged to have driven a Seat Leon on New Road, Worcester, when he had the proportion of Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol - a breakdown of cannabis - in his system above the legal limit.
The crown alleges the offence took place on July 5 last year.
The 41-year-old was scheduled to appear at Worcester Magistrates Court on Tuesday, (January 9), but prior to his hearing his case was adjourned.
Hanson is yet to enter a plea to the charge.
Hanson is now scheduled to appear at the court on January 19.
