THE MIDLANDS Air Ambulance helicopter was called to a medical emergency at a city doctors.

Two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance were sent to Elbury Moor Medical Centre this afternoon (Friday) after a man had a medical emergency.

The man was treated on the scene and taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital. 

Midlands Air Ambulance landed on King George V's playing fields in Brickfields just after 2.45pm this afternoon (Friday).

Two paramedics then got into an awaiting car on blue lights to be transferred to the incident.

A West Midlands Ambulance spokesperson said: "We were called to a medical emergency at Elbury Moor Medical Centre at 2.05pm, two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham attended the scene.

"On arrival, we discovered one male patient who, following treatment, was transported to Worcestershire Royal Hospital by land ambulance."
