A MOTORCYCLE caught fire on a road in Worcester.
Fire crews were called to an incident yesterday evening (Monday) to a fire in St Clements Gardens in Worcester.
A motorcycle was found to have been set alight with firefighters using a hosereel to extinguish the flames.
Police also attended the scene as the fire it believed to be deliberate.
No casualties have been reported.
A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "A Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crew from Worcester Fire Station was called at 18:44 on 8 April to a fire in the open in St Clements Gardens, Worcester.
"A motorcycle was well alight and extinguished using a hosereel jet.
"Police (log 396) were requested to attend as the fire was believed to be deliberate. There were no casualties.
"The incident was marked as pending closure at 19:17."
West Mercia Police said enquiries on the incident are currently ongoing.
"Enquiries are ongoing following a report of a motorbike that was on fire on Henwick Road at around 7pm yesterday (8 April).
"No injuries were reported."
