SPEED enforcement checks were carried out by police in Warndon Villages in Worcester with 'several drivers' warned to slow down.
Warndon Safer Neighbourhood Team officers conducted speed enforcement checks on Plantation Drive and Hastings Drive on Friday afternoon.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "Several drivers were spoken to and one driver, a local resident, was reported for excess speed. It's 30mph for a reason."
The checks follow an another operation at the start of the month.
A police spokesperson said: "When your driving attracts our attention due outrageous speed, don't use the excuse that you just want to get home.
"Especially when your going the wrong way! Plantation Drive. Ticket on the way!"
